The survey

What we did next was to make a survey of each of the shortlisted countries.

1. USA
This is our first choice since hubby is attached to a US MNC now. We thought he could ask for a transfer or etc.. when we really decide if this is where we really want to be. The tax and health care is high though so we are quite concern on this area. Also, it is far from Malaysia... mean the journey can be quite daunting....

2. Canada
Though Canada is a nice country but we found that the weather can be unbearable most of the time. Therefore, we have to scrap the idea altogether as adjusting to the all year cold weather might be a little difficult to do.

3. UK
In term of education, UK is an ideal place but everything is expensive and job opportunities is by far... scarce... so not a good place to go at the moment.

4. Australia
I used to stay in Perth during my university day and I fell in love with the place... generally the entire Australia as they are so well planned. They have good education systems and welfare for their people... at least the tax paid will be 'returned' to us in form of subsidies in health care and etc... Also, it is the nearest to Malaysia so it is more convenient for us to travel between both places.
